What is RCS Business Messaging?

RCS (Rich Communication Services) is the next generation of SMS messaging. It enables businesses to send interactive, branded messages with rich media, suggested actions, and verified sender identity.

Our RCS Business Messaging beta gives you early access to test this channel with your customers, helping you deliver more engaging communications while we refine the platform based on your feedback.

Who can participate in the beta?

The beta is open to platforms and businesses interested in exploring RCS Business Messaging as part of their messaging strategy. Availability will be limited during the early rollout as we onboard participants gradually.

If selected, your Telgorithm Customer Experience Manager will guide you on how to register your RCS Business Messaging and get your customers registered to send.

How do I join the beta?

You can join the beta by submitting the waitlist form on this page. Once registered, the Telgorithm team will reach out as onboarding becomes available.

Does RCS require registration or approval?

Yes. Similar to A2P 10DLC, RCS Business Messaging requires businesses to complete a registration and approval process before sending messages. Telgorithm will guide beta participants through the registration requirements and onboarding process.

What happens if RCS is not supported on a recipient’s device?

If RCS is unavailable for a device or carrier, Telgorithm's AI ensures messages automatically fall back to SMS. Telgorithm’s patented Smart Queueing technology helps ensure fallback traffic is delivered reliably without unnecessary message failures.

When will RCS Business Messaging be generally available?

The beta will allow Telgorithm and participating platforms to test and refine the channel before broader availability. Additional updates and timelines will be shared as the rollout progresses.
